Product Designer

We’re looking for a skilled Product Designer to join our growing product team. This role blends UX/UI design, product ownership, and AI innovation.

• Elevating our UI and UX
  Review and refine our visual language and interaction patterns to ensure a consistent, intuitive, and delightful experience across the MySchool platform.

• Designing and reimagining products
  Partner closely with our Head of Product to lead the design of new features and overhaul existing ones based on research, user feedback, and competitive analysis. You’ll conduct stakeholder interviews, write functional specifications, and create wireframes that bring ideas to life.

• Integrating AI-driven features
  Identify opportunities where AI can enhance usability, automate workflows, and generate insights for our users. You’ll design AI-powered tools that meaningfully improve the way schools operate.

This is a fully remote position but you must be based in Malta. While your regular working hours will follow CET, you’ll occasionally meet with clients in other time zones, which may require flexibility beyond your standard schedule.

• Conduct user research and gather feedback through interviews and competitive analysis

• Review and improve existing pages to enhance usability and consistency

• Design wireframes in Figma

• Write up features into clear specifications

• Work closely with the Head of Product to plan the roadmap.

• Lead the charge in introducing AI across MySchool’s ecosystem.

• Collaborate with developers during implementation and provide necessary design support

• Contribute to and help maintain a design language for the product 

• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer, ideally in a SaaS company

• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and visual design skills

• Proficiency with Figma, including components, prototyping, and collaboration features

• Experience conducting user research and applying findings to your design work

• Comfortable writing product specs and user stories for developers

• Strong attention to detail and a user-focused mindset

• High English proficiency

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently 

• Background in EdTech or experience designing tools for students, teachers or parents

• Experience in building AI focused features

• Experience working in a hybrid design/product role

• Experience creating and maintaining a design system

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, AHA!, or similar 

Depending on experience, the range for this role is €40,000 - €45,000 gross per year, plus the below benefits:
