Prepare your school for the General Data Protection Regulation

All schools in the EU are affected by this law.

The General Data Protection Regulation is the tough new data protection law that came into force across the EU on 25th May 2018. Unlike the existing data protection law, the GDPR is likely to be aggressively enforced and will carry fines reaching €20 Million or 4% of revenue.

Every school, institute, company, government department and organisation that holds the personal data of EU citizens is affected. There is also almost certainly a requirement for the engagement of a Data Protection Officer (DPO) for all schools.
