Sales Account Executive

    About the position

    We’re looking for an organised and efficient Sales Account Executive to join our team and work alongside members of Customer Support and Marketing teams. This position requires applicants to work hours that cover morning and early afternoon on the US/Canadian East coast timezone. (Europe 1pm - 10pm)

    MySchool Sales Account Executives are responsible for selling the MySchool value proposition to leads over email and phone. Target customers will be from any part of the world though focus will be on North American and European markets.

    What you’ll be doing

    You’ll be based in Malta working alongside the whole team:

    • Consistently nurturing leads and closing new business,
    • talking to prospective customers and demoing the MySchool system on a daily basis,
    • creating sales material with help from marketing and support teams,
    • participating in regular handover and meetings with the support team and
    • committing to and developing an innovative inbound sales and marketing methodology.

    Requirements:

    • Have a strong commitment to win, and possess a drive to meet goals,
    • have a desire to learn, understand new concepts and ask thoughtful questions,
    • have strong communication skills. Apart from possessing excellent spoken and written English, you will be able to effectively communicate with, motivate and inspire prospects,
    • able to work with other people effectively, have high levels of patience, take feedback well and treat your team with respect,
    • have good problem solving skills and able to empathise with prospects,
    • ability to work both independently and with a team and be accountable for your own work,
    • at least 2 years experience in a similar sales position and
    • Able to work (from home) hours that cover morning and early afternoon on the US/Canadian East coast timezone. (Europe 1pm - 10pm).

    Considered a very strong plus:

    • Have experience working in an academic or administrative position in a school,
    • SaaS / School management software industry experience working in a sales role and
    • experience using the MySchool platform.

    Selection process

    Apart from the required skills, it’s important for us to find someone that fits in with our team and culture. As well as a skills assessment, our first interview will look to see if we’re a good fit for each other. If it’s all looking good, we’ll meet again for a 2nd interview.
